This man was my step-father untill my mother divorced him in the middle '70's. Now that does't seem like much untill you realize what he accepted by marrying my mother. She already had three kids and was living in a rental property in California. I had a disability and spent the first year of their marriage in a hospital bed. He gave me 52 shiny silver dollars, yea the real ones to which I put in my first bank account. This was my allowance for the year I guessed and spent it. My Uncle gave me cash money for them, what did I know of appreciation in value.
He worked as a POLICE OFFICER in the SFPD for many years and even was there when they filmed BULLITT. After he was let go he owned various Taverns in San Francisco.
I will always remember his voice, singing songs in greek as well as the old show tunes. Yes he was a first generation Greek immigrant whose parents owned an apartment over looking Lake Merritt in Oakland Ca.
Years later he changed his name to Baxter Ross, thankfully he has a son who is carring on the name quite well. Rest in Peace and may God watch over your soul! I will edit as I remember his life. TS Don

With all that goes on in the world today why would we give a dog dropping about dating a friends EX. You never hear of this when it comes to Men. "Hey were done and she is free to do whatever" is how men deal. My thought on this is that women know a good thing and are not willing to share their conquest with another especially a friend.
This morning Captain Morgan asked about beauty and how it relates to us men. My answer can be read if you go and visit him on the Hitchcock Railway. I find it funny that we are raised to be accepting of everyone yet on every visual format do you see an unattractive person giving the report. How about it out there folks do you also see how you are being manipulated. We are taught to accept everyone yet in the media they only believe we buy from attractive people if you don't fit the bill then the only way you can be happy is to look like this. If you drive a fancy car it will attract firm young things to your door. Yes appearance is the key to happiness or at least thats what they want us to believe. How many times growing up did we meet an unattractive woman with a great personality? Yet we went home with the pretty young thing because it felt good to walk out the door with her on your arm or we went home with the good personality yet on our mind was the sensous one from the table behind her. With all the advances made by women it still boils down to appearance. Even they want the bad boy but he has to look good being that way. TS

Yes I have not been very smart and I expect my internet service to be interupted for awhile. Hopefully I will be up and running soon so untill then I will go back to using the local library. I will be watching and hopefully my brain will reset back to normal. TS

Today a loud voice is heard in the hallway and my thought was to explain to him his error. I opened the door and in a sarcastic tone asked if he was making enough noise? He walked to his room and mumbled "where's my gun". I don't scare easily yet with a Judge being shot blocks away my mind was clear and ready. He then returned and got in my face and said he was going to beat me up. Welcome back to my world folks. The biggest little city in the world has gone gangster, the young think as long "as long as I stand 7' tall who's gunna mess with them? ME and my baseball bat, but only if they come in my room. I understand the law and what I can and cannot say or do, so I will report it to the front desk and hope they are quick learners. TS
