 Ron Goldman's Father?

It's been 19 years since I've seen my daughter but your show is going to show an episode about Ron Goldmans father? Guess when it comes to "no justice" he is the king. What gets me is his arrogant attitude toward others and their rights. So because he feels betrayed by the court system he is going to tell others who they can or cannot see? It's been 14 years and he is just as angry and bullheaded as ever. But I see how that fits your show, us men are all arrogant and bullheaded.
Now before you delete this remember I post this also at blogstream and myspace. Equality is for all not just who you see fit to let through.

Yes I guess daytime TV is still for women only. Then how about returning nights to Men? TS

An inspiring story for all ages..

Subject: Rose

The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged
us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look
around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.

I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me
with a smile that lit up her entire being.

She said, 'Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old.
Can I give you a hug?'

I laughed and enthusiastically responded, 'Of course you may!' and she
gave me a giant squeeze.

'Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?' I asked.

She jokingly replied, 'I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married,
and have a couple of kids...'

'No seriously,' I
asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to
be taking on this challenge at her age.

'I always dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting
one!' she told me.

After class we walked to the student union building and shared a
chocolate milkshake.

We became instant friends. Every day for the next three months we would
leave class together and talk nonstop. I was always mesmerized
listening to this 'time machine' as she shared her wisdom and
experience with me.

Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily
made friends wherever she went.
She loved to dress up and she reveled
in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students. She was
living it up.

At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football
banquet. I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her prepared speech she dropped her three by five cards on the floor.

Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone
and simply said, 'I'm sorry I'm so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! I'll never get my speech back in order so let me just tell you what I know.'

As we laughed she cleared her throat and began, ' We do not stop
playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing.

There are only four secrets to staying young, being happy, and
achieving success. You have to laugh and find humor every day. You've got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die.

We have so many people walking around who are dead and don't even know it!

There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up.

If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and
don't do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old. If I am eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never
do anything I will turn eighty-eight.

Anybody can grow older. That doesn't take any talent or ability. The
idea is to grow up by always finding opportunity in change. Have no
regrets.

The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did, but rather for things we did not do. The only people who fear death are those with
regrets.'

She concluded her speech by courageously singing 'The Rose.'

She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in our daily lives. At the year's end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years ago.

One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep.

Over two thousand college students attended her funeral in tribute to the wonderful woman who taught by example that it's never too late to be all you can possibly be.

When you finish reading this, please send this peaceful word of
advice to your friends and family, they'll really enjoy it!

These words have been passed along in loving memory of ROSE.

REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY. GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL. We make a
Living by what we get. We make a Life by what we give.

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage. If God brings you to
it, He will bring you through it.

Pass this message to 7 people except you and me. You will receive a
miracle tomorrow ( if you don't think so...look out your window when
you wake in the morning and think about it )

If you choose not, then you refuse to bless someone else.

'Good friends are like stars........You don't always see them, but you
know they are always there.

So this is for all those who consider me their friend and for those I call friends as well!TS

Who's Racist? (USA)

Someone finally said it... How many are actually paying attention
to this? There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian
Americans, Arab Americans, etc. And then there are just Ameri-
cans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call
me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman' ... and
that's OK.
But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel
Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink ... You call me a racist. You say that
whites commit a lot of violence against you... so why are the ghettos
the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther
King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez
Day. You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi. You have
the NAACP. You have BET... If we had WET (White Entertainment
Television), we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day, you would
call us racists. If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.
If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance'
OUR lives, we'd be racists.
We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of
Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.
Wonder who pays for that??
A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant,
but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships
...You know we'd be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US .
Yet if there were 'White colleges' That would be a racist college.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching
for your race and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange,
and you're not afraid to announce it.
But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police
officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-
dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you
call him a racist.
I am proud... But you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists??
There is nothing improper about this e-mail. Let's see which of you
are proud enough to send it on. I sadly don't think many will. That's
why we have lost most of OUR RIGHTS in this country. We won't
stand up for ourselves!
BE PROUD TO BE WHITE!
It's not a crime yet ... but getting real close

Now as an American I find that anyone who wants to separate by calling themself anything but an American go back home. If you want to call yourself anything but an American then go back where you came from. If you want my job earn it don't claim you are being discriminated against.
As I grew up my mother said all I had to do was work hard and I could do anything. Now at 56 I'm disabled living in poverty. All I ask is to be left alone so that I'm not disturbed by all that I've been denied. If anyone has a claim of discrimination I do but does anyone give a crap? Racism is alive and well because of all we see that is being given away to others.
Now surprising as it sounds I've only faced Racism when they are in charge. So is the fear of loosing their position anymore real than ours who they took it from? TS

Barbra Streisand Headlines Fundraiser for Obama

Tuesday, September 16, 2008 2:20 PM

DENVER -- How does Barack Obama lure wealthy donors to a big-money fundraiser in Hollywood. It was to be a two-step evening with a reception and dinner costing $28,500 a person followed by a later event featuring Streisand at $2,500 a ticket.

Streisand originally backed Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton but switched to Obama when he emerged as the Democratic presidential nominee.

Streisand has been outspoken in criticizing John McCain's selection of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate on the Republican presidential ticket.

"This calculated, cynical ploy to pull away a small percentage of Hillary's women voters from Barack Obama will not work," Streisand wrote on her Web page. "We are not that stupid!" (yes we are)!ts

"I believe John McCain chose Gov. Palin because he truly believes that women who supported Hillary — an experienced, brilliant, lifelong public servant — would vote for him because his vice president has two X chromosomes," Streisand said. "McCain's selection of Gov. Palin is a transparent and irresponsible decision all in the name of trying to win this election."(YA THINK)ts

Obama is financing his presidential race with private contributions after abandoning a pledge to take public financing capped at $84 million. His campaign announced Sunday it had collected $66 million in August, a fundraising record for any presidential candidate in a monthlong period.

By comparison, McCain raised $47 million in August, a personal best for his campaign as well. After claiming the GOP nomination, McCain accepted the $84 million in taxpayer funds allotted the public financing system for the race.

Now I understand that it cost money to get elected but why tell us about it? I see he had this event I'm thinking he is gunna be rich if he loses. 28,000 for a dinner. I would be embarressed to say the least. There is not a bigger straight Babs fan as I grew up listening to her music on my families stereo, but 2500 a ticket is half a years rent. Why can't the race take a few months? This is longer and more expensive than all the sporting events combined. Then for the next four years we all complain about something not being addressed! So please in the future if attending one of these events wear a mask to hide your face because millions could have been helped with this money. TS

 CHOICES

I have read this before, but I think it is GREAT and something I am going to work on! Everyone have a GREAT Day!

READ THIS

LET IT REALLY SINK IN - THEN CHOOSE .

John is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, 'If I were any better, I would be twins!'

He was a natural motivator.

If an employee was having a bad day, John

was there telling the employee how to look

on the positive side of the situation.

Seeing this style really made me curious, so

one day I went up and asked him, 'I don't

get it!'

'You can't be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?'

He replied, 'Each morning I wake up and say to myself, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or...you can choose to be in a bad mood

I choose to be in a good mood.'

Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or...I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it.

Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or...I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life.

'Yeah, right, it's not that easy,' I protested.

'Yes, it is,' he said. 'Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people affect your mood.

You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It's your choice how you live your life.'

I reflected on what he said. Soon hereafter, I left the Tower Industry to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it.

Several years later, I heard that he was involved in a serious accident, falling some 60 feet from a communications tower.

After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, he was released from the hospital with rods placed in his back.

I saw him about six months after the accident.

When I asked him how he was, he replied, 'If I were any better, I'd be twins...Wanna see my scars?'

I declined to see his wounds, but I did ask him what had gone through his mind as the accident took place.

'The first thing that went through my mind was the well-being of my soon-to-be born daughter,' he replied. 'Then, as I lay on the ground, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live or....I could choose to die. I chose to live.'

'Weren't you scared? Did you lose consciousness?' I asked..

He continued, '...the paramedics were great.

They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the ER and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read 'he's a dead man'. I knew I needed to take action.'

'What did you do?' I asked.

'Well, there was a big burly nurse shouting questions at me,' said John. 'She asked if I was allergic to anything 'Yes, I replied.' The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep breath and yelled, 'Gravity''

Over their laughter, I told them, 'I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead.'

He lived, thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude...I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully.

Attitude, after all, is everything.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.' Matthew 6:34..

After all today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
