This morning I watched a news report of a young teen who played in her first PRO golf match. Her mother who has terminal cancer was glad that she was able to see her daughter fullfill a dream. A very heartwarming story only where's DAD? Yes I know the story was about the two ladies only it takes two to have a child. Did he feel just a little ignored. He more than likely got his little girl into the game yet just that easily he is not even mentioned. JUST A THOUGHT Reminds me of a song by Simon and Garfunkle, "WHERE HAVE All THE FLOWERS GONE?", replace fathers in the flowers and you will see. and yes I know there are alot of assholes who don't deserve to be parents of both sexes. So before you get all bent out of shape I only ask as a father who has not seen his child for 19 years. TS

I am not going any where. Just as I found when my home was being shaked by anothers life and when I asked what is the reason? I'm told Apartments are noisey, as if the peace I had before was a dream. I remember the date 11/22/05 when it changed. A young mind was moved in below and her thoughts of independance were dashed when I challenged. I am not a weak man and when others want a challenge I am mentally up for it. What I still have trouble with is being told apartments are noisey and I should accept the fact. I moved in and it was not acceptable untill the above date. "NO I AM NOT GOING TO GO", this kinda fits my personality. I love to challenge those who want to allow this to happen.
Another thing, with all there is to make jokes at is it a proper way to raise our young. Yes you are telling the young that their (AMISH) way of life is unnaceptable and should be laughed at. Now I am seeing where the fun poked at me was born. TS

Lucy this is not aimed at you, only the volumn you dredged up. I know that all of these fine people did not mean any harm. No more than any humor aimed at how another culture exist. This raises an issue with me because I know how awkward I look while walking and that when young we found it funny. Yes even I did it, who wants to raise a ruckus. I wanted to belong just as I do here, only now I will speak up.
Our way of life was attacked and we were horrofied by the images as thousands perished. The reason given was our decadent way of living. Yes 350+ comments aimed at anothers way of life. As for the amount, small in comparison to our population. Only I can't shake the imgage when tommorrow millions come to work and for a few minutes we will be embaressed at the response.
As I sit in my room built by government dollars that is so shabbily done that anothers door can be heared as well as the stereo and any noise that can be heard. At 53 I have lived in many places and this place by far exceeds CHEAP. It is as if thought was given in how each noise can be magnified. I am loosing it my friends so when you hear the reports don't be sad be angry that this is how we are. TS

I am tired of humor that is aimed at others way of life. When anyone needs to find humor by means such as these reminds me of people who laugh at the way one walks, such as faking a limp when someone with that problem goes by. If you find humor in this then please accept my condolences on the passing of your parents, I'm sure they tried but were taken by God before it got learned. If not then you are doing them a disservice in your actions. No I do not believe I am better but is it not requiered when another is wrong. We as a country are being attacted because of our selfish ways. The next time anyone makes lite of ones way of life I will speak. This is not small talk over coffee, it's read by millions. So for heavens sake PLEASE no humor over how others live. Yes this is America, isn't it great to have a voice. Yes you are allowed your view as I have a right to mine. TS
